Lady Dragons to play for state title

The Marlboro Academy softball team will face  Pee Dee Academy this week for the  2017 SCISA Class AA Softball State Championship.  The Lady Dragons qualified for the championship series by winning their bracket in the state tournament this weekend.

The first game of the championship series will be Monday, May 15, at 5:00 PM, at Marlboro Academy. The second game will be held Tuesday, May 16,  at Pee Dee Academy, which is between Marion and Mullins.  If necessary, a deciding game will be held at a neutral location on Wednesday.
